HCP is in the process of arranging two spring plays - Love, Loss and What I Wore by Nora and Delia Ephron, and Bare, Bear Bones by Canadian playwright Michael Grant for our audiences. Both will be directed by Linda Lloyd McKenzie.
Love, Loss and What I Wore will be in partnership with the Kincardine Theatre Guild.
The show consists of 28 stories, told by 5 women, that seek to illuminate the female identity using clothing as a metaphor for women's experiences. The recollections about the clothing prompt the women's memories of their mothers, boyfriends, husbands, ex-husbands, sisters and grandchildren. These will reasonate with every woman!
It is tentatively scheduled in Hanover for Feb. 22nd, 23rd, 28th and March 2nd, 2025.
Bare, Bear Bones will be our regularly scheduled spring comedy opening on April 25th with our Mix and Mingle social time prior to the show at 7:30 p.m. Shows run April 25th to 27th and May 1st to 4th, 2025.
Norman and Ruth, a conservative couple, return to the Bear Bones Campground in order to rekindle their spark. Arriving late at night, the couple awakes to find their familiar spot has become the Bare Bones Alternative Lifestyle Campground!
With help from guests and staff, the couple starts to open their eyes and find their way back to their happy place.
No actual nudity takes place, simply the perception of it
